These are super sweet one of a kind granulated hoops in small batch alloyed Green 18k Gold Granulation. They are a perfect size to wear all the time! The granulation pattern has an undulating line with large and small granules in a Starry Night pattern that goes from one end of the hoop to the other. These perfect hoops have a hinged hoop ear wire and catch in 14k gold.
Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. The granules are individually placed and fused with a mouth torch. I alloy 24k gold down to a very specific rich gold 18k and create tiny granules, wires, and sheet. I place these granules with a 000 paint brush and then carefully heat them using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tiny tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface.
