These may be the prettiest things I have ever made. The 18k granulation caps have a classical granulation pattern with super small granules around the edge with a G+ Sl1 2mm round flush-set diamond in each cap. This pearl dangle is hung from a 18k setting with granules showing off super nice 3.2mm G VS round diamonds hammer-set in 18k gold. With a french hook and clasp for security, these fancy beauties could even be slept in and not fall out. You may never take them out!
Granulation is an ancient fusing process. I alloy the gold to 18k from 24k and form the granules as well as the domes and findings. I use a mouth torch for precise flame control in order to fuse the granules in their pattern without solder. The ear wires are 14k and have a easy clasp for security. So crazy elegant.
