This is a 3mm patterned band with ethically sourced, 1.5 mm SI2-SI3 F+ Round Diamonds bezel set in each disc around the band.
This is a cast version of a striking patterned band I originally made in fine silver using the process of Granulation. I then make a mold of the ring and pull a wax copy and then I can cast using the lost wax process in the size and metal of your choice. I am currently offering this Diamond Eternity Band in 14k yellow gold, 18k yellow gold or sterling silver in a variety of finishes. I am also happy to make one in original granulation for you in your size in either 18k gold or Fine Silver. These take much longer to make but the process and result are lovely. Original granulated bands have a continuous pattern specific to you. The cast band’s pattern may no longer be continuous when the cast band is resized for you, but I will do my best so that you won’t notice the pattern disruption.

Granulation is an ancient fusing process utilized for thousands of years by the Etruscans and Mycenaeans as well as other cultures around the globe. I alloy 24k gold down to 18k gold and create tiny granules and sort them by size. Then I place these granules with a 000 paint brush and then carefully heat the piece using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface, in this a case, a pattern made of slices from a round ingot and several sizes of my granules.
