This is cast from a granulated original and is pictured in 14k yellow gold, but I can also cast this in Sterling or 18k yellow. Or would be happy to make a similar design for you in original 18k granulation!
Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. This unique surface will get more interesting with wear. The granules are individually placed and fused with a mouth torch. I then make a mold of the ring and pull a wax copy from that mold and cast it using a vacuum-assisted lost wax process.
