This sterling silver granulated shield can have your choice of stone Pink Garnet, Red Garnet, Blue Topaz, Peridot or Amethyst
Granulation is an ancient fusing process in which I make all the tiny spheres and place them with a brush before fusing them with a mouth torch. I then make a mold, then a wax copy, and through the process of lost wax casting, I make these cast earrings in silver. These silver earrings are patinaed, pin-polished and given a light polish for a bright shimmer. Hung with fixed handmade sterling French hooks. I do make these Shield Earrings 3 ways: dangle french hook, fixed french hook, and post earrings.
