Granulation is a controlled fusing process that has been utilized for thousands of years. I melt 999.99% Fine Silver to create granules and wire. The granules are then individually placed and fused with a mouth torch to the disk. I like to oxidize the disk and then high polish the tops of the granules to bring out the details in the design.
