This beautiful tiny round rainbow moonstone has so much luminance!
A bezel-set small round rainbow moonstone is surrounded by larger 18k gold granules and can be ordered on the your chain of choice.
This lovely, luminous, moonstone is bezel-set in 18k rich yellow gold granulation on 18k gold. Granulation is an ancient fusing process utilized for thousands of years by the Etruscans and Mycenaeans. I alloy 24k gold down to 22k and 18k and create tiny granules. I place these granules with a 000 paint brush and then carefully heat using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface. I then cut a seat for the cabochon and set the stone using a hammer and steel setting tool. A polish and thorough cleaning and it is ready for the chain of your choice.
You can have your pendant strung on an oxidized silver chain, or a 14k gold 1mm cable chain, or choose to use your own chain and purchase this one-of-a-kind pendant alone.
This pendant is priced here with a 1mm cable chain in 14k, though I often have other quality commercially available chains listed for sale. Check my necklaces page for other chain options.
You can purchase with no chain, just the pendant alone. Or purchase with an oxidized silver chain or a 14k yellow chain in 16”, 18” or 20”. The gold chains take about a week to arrive before I can complete your chain with the moonstone pendant and ship it out to you.
