Granulation is an ancient fusing process utilized for thousands of years by many cultures. I use Fine Silver to create tiny granules, sheet and wires to create my design and then place these granules with a 000 paint brush into the pattern and then carefully heat the piece using a mouth torch to the point of fusing. Each sphere is connected by a tangent of metal creating a sleek and beautiful surface. I oxidize the depths and polish the tops to accentuate the design.
